Brock Realty Launches New Listing Management System  

Coldwell Banker Brock Realty has launched a brand new state of the art listings system. On this page you can find out about the many new features of the system and how to use it.

New Features:

• Ability to get a map and directions to any listing (provided by Mapquest)
• One click printing of listings
• Listings can now be added to Internet Explorer Favorites
• Email to a friend capability
• Agent and Broker Information Easily Accessible from within the listing
• Make an inquiry from within the listing (sends an email to the listing agent)
• Comprehensive list of property features in a easy to understand format
• Up to five pictures per listing

How to Access The System:

To access the new system simply click "Listings" on the navigational system or go to http://listings.cbbrockrealty.com

How to Use The System:

When you first visit the new system you will notice that on the left side and in the middle of the page there is a list of of local cities and counties that Brock Realty serves. To see all listings for a particular area simply click the city that you desire. Below the list of cities are the new listings. These are listings that have been posted in the last 14 days. To view any of these new listings click the address or picture. Any listing that has a picture of a camera next to it means that pictures are available of the listing.

Let's view one of the listings. Click one of the new listings. The listing detail page will appear. At the top of the page you will notice the ListingID, Ref#(MLS Number), and address. Immediately below the address there is a link for map and directions. Clicking this link will open a map in a separate window provided by Mapquest. In this separate window you can get directions to the location as well. To get back to the listing close the MapQuest window.

In the specs and features section you will find standard property features such as:

• Property type
• Square Footage
• Year Built
• Number of Bedrooms
• Number of Bathrooms
• Number floors
• Lot size
• Garage Size

Below these features is a large group of checkboxes. If any of these boxes is checked it means that the property has this particular feature. If it is not checked, the property does NOT have this feature.

Below the features list is the school district info, additional description by the agent, price, and type of loan. A mortgage calculator is also available by clicking the mortgage calculator link.

If a listing contains a picture you can easily view the larger version by clicking the picture. It will open in a new window.

Information on the right side of the screen:

On the right side of the screen you have four options. More information is provided about each option below:

• Print this page: This will open the print dialog box so that the listing information can be printed.
• Add to favorites: Opens a dialog box so that the listing can be added to your web browser bookmarks/favorites
• Email this page: Opens a form so that the listing can be emailed to a friend
• Make an inquiry: If you have questions about a listing this opens a form where you can type in your question and have it emailed to the listing agent.

Below these options is information on the agent posting the listing and the broker.

Getting back to the front page of the Real Estate System:

Simply click one of the links that says home and you will be taken to the front page of the real estate system.

Viewing all listings by a certain agent:

On the front page click the realtor directory link. This will display a list of all agents. When you find the realtor whose listings you would like to view click "all listings by this realtor."

Using the Search System:

On the front page click the Search link. The search page will appear in basic mode. On this page you can search using a variety of criteria such as:

• Area(cities/counties)
• Price Range
• Property Type
• Beds
• Bath

Clicking the "more search options" link will offer the following additional search criteria:

• Minimum square feet
• Age of home
• Keyword

To perform a search choose the desired criteria and click the binoculars. The search results will appear below the search form. To view a desired listing click the address or the picture.
